» FT eXchange goes Canyon
If you take a look into FTX, you will already see the very first Canyon track uploaded to it Today I was able to finish the FTX upgrade to Canyon, so from now on, you should be able to upload any Canyon tracks As shadows get saved into the track file as of ManiaPlanet, the maximum allowed filesize of ManiaPlanet maps have been increased to 1MB... I don't know if this is enough, maybe I'll adjust this in future The current "No screen available"-screen is only temporary, I think Snakey will make a better one soon (as he wants to make the FT skin soon If FTX recognizes a Canyon map, it will change some of the details you can specify, such as showing Mania-Exchange instead of TMX and disabling EnviMix. If you encounter any problems with the new FTX (like display errors or infinite loading), press Ctrl+F5 or manually empty your browser-cache, so that the new Javascript and CSS files get loaded. If the error persists, feel free to report it The in last time very busy FT»Marcel

» New Design: TrackMania² Canyon
With the release of TrackMania² Canyon, which will come later today, the new Canyon Theme has been enabled on the FunTrackers Clanpage. If you didn't noticed it before reading this news... open your eyes Having already 7 colors for the themes of the Clanpage made it hard to find another color, which is basically different from the existing one but which still looks nice as a theme (so not pink If you are a very old FT, you may remember back when I was first creating the 7 colors of the Forum. But not all of them have been kept for a long time... It was only few days, where the Yellow Bay theme was in the forums, and nearly from the first minute, it was clear: The yellow was too brighten, making the theme look ugly. Few days, beforem Yellow Bay was replaced with Blue Bay. (Sadly I do not have any screenshots from these old designs, so I cannot show it to the newer FTs I thought long about it: Should I really try to remake a yellow theme, which failed the first time? The problem is, that you only see what the theme looks like, when you re mostly done. And so I began, creating the yellow images and changing the colors all to yellow, always hoping that it get better than Yellow Bay... And after inserting the last yellow image into the new theme, it was clear: We will have a Yellow Canyon theme Additional information: Today, as the release day of TM² Canyon, the forum will enforce Yellow Canyon for all users. Starting with tomorrow, this Theme will be part of the Theme Changer. The week still have only 7 days, so the themes won't fit the weekdays anymore. Instead, "days since 1900" (start of the UNIX timestamp) will be used to calculate the current theme. (Sadly, I was not able to make FTX ready so far, so you have to be a bit more patient until you will be able to upload Canyon tracks on it... So have fun with the new design, and of course with TrackMania² Canyon FT»Marcel

| Applications re-opened! |

» Applications re-opened!
Long time ago... Only few of us may remember it, but yeah, there was a time where everybody could try to join the clan... The good old times, where all monitors were black&white... To make it short: As of inactivity of the Clan and in preparation to the release of ManiaPlanet and TrackMania² Canyon, we decided to re-open the Applications to the Clan. The rules are as known: Present your tracks, and we decide if they are good enough to let you in. As of the TM² Canyon is still in Beta, and not all FT Members have access to it, it is not allowed to only use TM² Tracks for the application (to be exact, the rule to post Tracks of only a single Environment already forbids this In addition, I updated the Inactive FunTrackers, as some of those still marked as Active don't really were active.
